Purchasing Manager - Novi, MI

Infinity Homes & Co. is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team in Novi, MI! Join an expanding team at one of Michigan’s top privately held Home Building & real estate development companies.

Primary Responsibilites:
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for entering into negotiations with suppliers and trade partners. The Purchasing Manager oversees the Purchasing Analyst(s) to achieve the goals and deadlines set forth by the monthly construction schedule along with working with accounting to ensure compliance on budget vs cost in addition to ensuring P& L metrics are met.

The Purchasing Manager, as with all Infinity team members, is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner that is consistent with the company Core Values and the Business Ethics, Employee Conduct and Confidentiality policy.

  • Responsible for entering negotiations with suppliers and trade partners by reviewing terms and conditions, establishing pricing and formulating contracts.
  • Lead project of implementing a new purchasing software program for the company to ensure that all bid /job pricing data is consistent and accessible company wide while being continually maintained.
  • Audit post-closing job file to ensure that P & L is maintained, and closings are meeting or exceeding profitability quotas.
  • Manage supplier performance, cost, quality, productivity, and overall service.
  • Provide timely and accurate supplier negotiations and contracting based on selected criteria.
  • Manage and execute contract agreements.
  • Verify estimate of costs and quantities of products, using comparative and differential estimate techniques.
  • Complete customer option estimates
  • Track insurance compliance with vendors.
  • Utilize enterprise purchasing and accounting systems to input received data and generate and distribute reports.
  • Onboarding of new company sub-contractors, suppliers, and trade partners
  • Coordination with field operations to ensure specification and features are being properly installed.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong written/verbal communication, adaptability, and organization.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and have the willingness to take on additional responsibility.
  • Self- Driven and motivated with the ability to grow with the company
  • 2-4 years of previous purchasing experience in new home construction
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • College degree or some college preferred.

Office Administrator - Novi, MI

Infinity Homes & Co. is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our team in Novi, MI! Join an expanding team at one of Michigan’s premier development companies!

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Answers telephones and directs calls to the appropriate associate.
  • Greets and direct visitors.
  • Drafting and typing documents as requested.
  • Daily filing of purchase orders, paid invoices and other documents as requested.
  • Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company, location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
  • Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
  • Administrative support to Accounting Department and other staff as and when needed
  • Assists with other related clerical duties.

Leasing Assistant - Novi, MI

Infinity Homes & Co. is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Leasing Assistant to join our team growing residential leasing division! Join an expanding team at one of Michigan’s premier development companies!

The Leasing Assistant is responsible for presenting company owned and managed communities to prospective residents, providing Best-in-Class customer service, and participating in the marketing of the community. The Leasing Assistant works in conjunction with the Leasing Manager to achieve the goals established for the property. The Leasing Assistant will be required to assist on various properties in Southeast Michigan as needed.

The Leasing Assistant, as with all Infinity team members, is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner that is consistent with the company Core Values and the Business Ethics, Employee Conduct and Confidentiality policy.

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Assist the Leasing Manager as needed
  • Follow company policies and procedures as directed by the Leasing Manager
  • Greet and present property to prospective residents through personalized tours. Gathers information regarding needs, and qualification of prospective resident to report to supervisor. Conducts follow-up with prospects.
  • Answer telephone and email leads by responding to inquires
  • Respond to all internet leads on a daily basis and enter all prospect information into company CRM (Sales software program)
  • File applicable paperwork as directed by the Leasing Manager
  • Maintain marketing folders
  • Monthly reports as directed
  • Monthly rental payment ledger updates
  • Maintain leasing files by opening new files and closing matured files, as directed by the Leasing Manager
  • Inspect the properties on a weekly basis to ensure tenants are complying with the rules and regulation. Report any violations to the Leasing Manager.
  • Maintains office presentation in a professional manner. Assist with closing and securing the office and models daily.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • Ideal candidate will have a combination of strong written/verbal communication, adaptability, and organization.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and have the willingness to take on additional responsibility.

  • Six months of sales and/or customer service experience in at least one of the following industries: property management, hospitality, retail, real estate and other service sectors.

Sales Assistant - Novi, MI

Infinity Homes & Co. is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team! Join an expanding team at one of Michigan’s premier Real Estate development companies!

The Sales Assistant is responsible for presenting New Home communities to prospective residents, providing customer service, and participating in the marketing of the community. The Sales Assistant works in conjunction with the Sales and construction team that they are assigned to on a daily basis to achieve the goals established for the property. The Sales Assistant will be required to assist on various properties in Southeast Michigan as needed.

The Sales Assistant, as with all Infinity team members, is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner that is consistent with the company Core Values and the Business Ethics, Employee Conduct and Confidentiality policy.

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Open and inspect the models and the market “ready” vacant homes daily to ensure they are presentable in accordance to established standards. Ensure Sales center is open and ready for business on time each day.
  • Maintains office presentation in a professional manner. Assist with closing and securing the office and models daily.
  • Answers telephone and email leads by responding to inquiries.
  • Responds to all internet leads on a daily basis.
  • Work with lead Sales Associate on marketing information presented to the public
  • Greets and present property to prospective residents through personalized tours. Gathers information regarding needs, and qualification of prospective resident to report to supervisor. Conducts follow-up with prospects.
  • Responsible for accurately and timely inputting all telephone, email and walk-in traffic into Lasso (Company’s CRM-Infinity’s marketing software). Also responsible for inputting cancellations.
  • Compile welcome paperwork, associated addendums and forms in compliance with policies and procedures, as directed by supervisor. Establish appointments for reviewing documents with customers.
  • Upon move-in, completes a thorough walk through of community amenities with the new Construction & residents.
  • Gathers competitive market information weekly/monthly through telephone calls, internet research and site visits.
  • Assist in Preparing routine reports (weekly and quarterly market survey) and shares information with on-site management team. Shop the competition to compare sales technique, pricing strategy and merchandising.
  • Work with the team assigned to ensure all information is input into Lasso by the close of each business day.
  • Learn company core values and master sales processes and procedures
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate and current priority wait list and assures all prospects are kept in constant communication with availability.

  • Demonstrates the ability to handle resident concerns and direct them to the Construction or Customer Service Departments when appropriate.

Technical/Professional Knowledge (Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience)
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Six months sales and/or customer service experience in at least one of the following industries: property management, hospitality, retail, real estate and service sectors.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Lasso or other CRM experience preferred

New Home Construction Manager - Romulus, MI

The Construction Manager will oversee the day to day operations of the home building and overall site management of a specific development. Join an expanding team at one of Michigan’s premier development companies!

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Responsible for providing technical expertise in coordinating the activities of new home construction from initial development through final construction on time and according to company standards.
  • Verify each home site is built per plan and specifications ensuring that the selected options and upgrades are completed during construction and meet homeowner’s expectations by final walkthrough.
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors, materials, and sub-contractor relationships in order to build homes on schedule and close on time.
  • Schedule and obtain necessary building inspections as required.
  • Respond to any warranty calls during scheduled times.
  • Assist in resolving issues/conflicts related to daily construction activities.
  • Maintain a safe work site by implementing good housekeeping regulations and safety requirements, enforcing safe work habits and rules, and observing OSHA and state regulation requirements.
  • Monitor subdivision cleanliness and hold the subcontractors responsible for their daily clean up.
  • Conduct detailed inspections after each trade has completed its tasks and prior to authorization for payment.
  • Authorize payment for materials received and work completed.
  • Walk each completed home before homeowner walk-through to make sure it is complete, clean, and meets standards.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential production building.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people, including management, sales, trades, vendors and customers.
  • Manage time effectively, multi-task and prioritize in order to meet established goals and deadlines.
  • Be decisive, flexible and work well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations or delays and in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Construction Practices and Terminology.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
  • Attention to Detail and persistence in follow up.

Laborer - Novi, MI

Infinity Homes & Co. is looking for a full-time Laborer to join our team in the metro Detroit area. Join an expanding team at one of Michigan’s premier development companies! You will handle the general cleaning and punch list items of the homes under construction.

You'll will work closely with the Site Superintendent covering the site management and assisting with day to day punch list items including but not limited to:

  • Pre-drywall punch list and checklist completion items.
  • Pre-final walk through punch list and checklist completion items.
  • Meeting with inspectors (if applicable).
  • Contractor quality control follow up.
  • Sweep/vacuum out homes under construction at various stages of construction.
  • Ensure that the grounds of the development are kept in a litter-free condition at all times.
  • Ensure that the roads within the construction area of the development are kept in a clean condition at the end of every day.
  • Ensure that the exterior lot area is kept in a clean condition at all times. All trash is to be confined to the onsite dumpster enclosures.
  • Remove construction debris from garage and loading them into on-site dumpster.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • Must be able to work on your feet all day and lift 20+ lbs.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people, including management, sales, trades, vendors and customers.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and have the willingness to take on additional responsibility.
  • Valid Michigan Driver’s License
